To someone who wants you that you’ll never know.īut I’ll pick up around you and clear everything out, Leave you where I found you-I figured you out. You’re every kind of caller-there ain’t nothing that you won’t claim- You’re ambition and promise, you’re addiction to fame.Īnd everyone has a dollar sign after their name-Īnd when somebody wants you, you treat ‘em just the same.Īnd what person you lose-it should have been me, yeah- Shouldn’t it be?Ĭrushing quiet blows in through your window I’m getting pretty used to being the one that you always ignore When somebody wants you-I’ve seen it before.

So won’t you just go and talk to the one you really adore. I’ve seen you watching her every time she crosses the floor, Mixed by Larry Crane, May 2010, at Jackpot! Recording Studio. Recorded by Elliott Smith at Heatmiser House in 1995. This song was recorded as a demo for Mary Lou Lord, who later recorded a version (produced, performed, recorded, and mixed by Elliott Smith) for Pre-order 'Either/Or: Expanded Edition' today at Food for thought."I Figured You Out" is the first single from Elliott Smith's 'Either/Or: Expanded Edition,' out March 10th, 2017 on 2LP, 2CD, and MP3 on Kill Rock Stars.

My copy of Roman Candle from around 2017 is every bit as phenomenal as this pressing. There are too many variations and Kill Rockstars has always been an excellent steward of the Elliott Smith they own and what they release. Personally, unless the seller was able to convince me or show proof that what they have is before 2002 I would not seek these copies out. This record has never really gone out of print and it looks like there are many variations but some of them have clues as to when they were pressed. My pressing sounds phenomenal all these years later, still looks glossy with faint scuff marks, no pops, clicks, surface noise, no wear on cover and I’ve played the holy hell out of it. Pretty sure I paid $12-$14 so I’ll be expecting a refund from the Record Exchange in Boise Idaho. S/T and Either Or are listed for $9 on the insert.

It has canary yellow labels, doesn’t feel like 180g but close, has glossy black lyric sheet with white lettering, matches these matrix numbers, has 6808.2 lightly scratched out and an insert for Kill Rockstars 2000 releases and what they have planned for 2001.
